Just so




These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago. Steve and I went to Degree for our bi-annual loyalty party. I enjoyed it this time, the food was good and although I only liked one of the drinks they offered, it was still good. We went home with a voucher to eat again at Degree and couldn't ask for more. The pic of me as you can see is edited. I just love to use PicMonkey. It gives a different dimension to an image. Steve on the otherhand does not like editing images. He likes the real deal.

There have been some interesting posts on Facebook this week. All I can say is that people really need to be more tolerant. So many issues occur in life because a person is not willing to listen or accept the differences of other people.

Musings on my childhood by Zai

  I had a great childhood. I had fun and freedom to explore the world around me. And even though we did not have everything in life, we still enjoyed life the best of what we had. Davao and Tagum were beautiful homes for us. The rural life in Tagum was special and it helped us appreciate the beauty of living a simple life. It gave us wonderful memories which I treasure. I had memories of my childhood in Bajada, Davao. It was there where we played under the Mansanitas tree just in front of the rented house, we would play on Zamel’s toy car. The car was big enough for us that we could ride it. When I was little, I used to think the tree was so big. Everything looked so big when you are a child. When I see a Mansanitas tree now, I realise that it is not that big after all. I vaguely remember playing near the neighbors house where I would jump over the canal.
