How fast has the time passed this year! It seems like it was just yesterday that we spent our Christmas in the Philippines. And now, we are looking forward to spend the same in India by the end of the New Year. The biggest thing that happened this year for us would be our move to our own 'home sweet home'. This happened last Sept ember. We wanted to celebrate this Christmas at 23 Dovedale Place and celebrate it well. Who knows where we will be next year? On 24th of December, we took a break from our tradition and went to St. John for our midnight mass. Our friend Father Lio celebrated the mass. (We used to go to St. Patrick for our midnight mass.). The mass was earlier than the usual 11PM mass of St. Patrick's so we were home by 10 ish . We came home from mass and had some drinks. Ber months have started again. And we are starting with a Bang!!!tomorrow is moving back to Dovedale...I'ts gonna be a big day...   It has been awhile since we have updated this blog....just a few notes since the last post. We celebrated Steve's birthday at Rumi in Parnell. They have good Mediterranean cuisine.  Then we celebrated Suzie's birthday at Sri Pinang, the food was great as usual.                                             Celebrating Epson's 30th birthday in New Zealand.                                            ...

The Auckland council chose a perfect venue for the Auckland Lantern Festival this year. The Domain is just the right place to hold the festival as space is not an issue. We had a lovely time looking at and taking pictures of the beautiful lanterns and displays. And we also enjoyed the show, with a Chinese rock band playing, the Secondhand Rose.

It's great to be able to catch up with Gingging. We had a lovely time on Wednesday when she came home and we had Hell's Pizza for dinner. Then on Friday 12 Feb, we went to Thai Street for lunch. We had spring rolls, Thai buffalo chicken that was just fried chicken. The main was yummy: Nam Tok, Pad Thai and Crab fried rice. Looking forward to our next catch up.

Steve and I didn't do much this Waitangi holiday...On Monday we just went to Mission bay for our walk and then for lunch we went to Rickshaw Eddy's Bar.  The food was good and the atmosphere was awesome. We will definitely go back again.

Day 0: 18th Dec Flight delayed by 45 mins.Luggage self check in was good. Emperor lounge had good lamb with chick peas, noodles. Day 1: 19th Dec Flight was good .Touch screens for entertainment .Watched 3 movies. Supper was cken Panini, ice cream kapiti .Breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage and yoghurt. Arrived in Singapore at 645   then took sky train to Terminal 2 and checked in to SATS lounge .Had shower and croissant and earl grey tea. Boarded plane to Davao at 9 am .So many forms to fill. Breakfast was noodles with spicy cken, bread rolls and oj.Flight stopped at Cebu for 45 mins so we going home delayed by 2 hours. When we finally reached no trolleys for luggage .Zai could not complete her bank work as staff away.Met Loida Norwegian partner Wilfred on d road. So much traffic. Spring rolls, fried chicken and Kookels lemongrass cken 4 dinner. Had a chat then to bed by 8 pm Day 2; 20th December Mass at 4 am .So many people about 3 th...
