India and Philippine trip Sept 2022

  INDIA TRIP  by Steve: Day 1 Sat 3rd Sept Larry dropped us off at the airport 845 pm Checked in luggage. Boarded 1130 pm Free in-flight wifi  Supper was basmati rice & chicken korma. Yumm Zai had beef with mash. Just ok Brekkie chicken sausage & scrambled egg Zai had a separate seat but Pom guy was understanding & exchanged seats. Singapore staff escorted us to board flight To Mumbai. Flight was a bit empty Only 2 hrs free wifi. Brekkie of omlette & chicken sausage Suz & Zai had aloo paratha & paneer Landed 10 mins early. Did immigration Luggage arrived on time. As we went to get sim card Steve OCI was missing. Was found in Suz bag. Pick up driver was courteous & we arrived home 130 pm Good to see mum dad. The year that's been

 It is easy to be lost in the quagmire of life and to forget the little beautiful moments that we experience in life. We must take time to reflect and thank the Almighty for the small things and the big things that has come by. Yes, these couple of years have not been very easy, but maybe there are blessings here and there that we have to praise the Lord for.    We are still living in suspense, if I may say, with Steve still on the verge of being listed back for heart transplant anytime. Aside from this, Auckland and the rest of the country had been in Covid lockdown for the past 3 months now. We are just coming out of it now with the vaccination campaign on a roll. Recently too, I had fears for mama Baby’s health. The stroke she suffered had caused so much tension for the family, not only mentally, spiritually but also financially. However, we have been given with precious time to still be with each other and to enjoy the time that we can be together.   Oh ho...
